This role will be responsible for driving insights through reports, ensuring data integrity across operational systems, automating key processes, and managing essential application security scanning tools. A key requirement is the ability to write low-complexity code and scripts to support tool integration and data manipulation.
Detailed Description

Analytics & Reporting:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-impact dashboards and reports in business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI) to provide real-time insights into engineering and operational performance.
Data Integration & Querying:
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) operational data into reporting tools, utilizing SQL for complex data extraction, manipulation, and integrity checks across diverse data sources.
Tools Administration:
Perform the configuration, maintenance, and user management of organizational ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) or DevOps tools.
Security Tools Management:
Administer the execution and reporting of essential application security scanning tools. This includes scheduling runs, troubleshooting execution issues, and ensuring results are processed and available for consumption.
Automation & Scripting:
Write and maintain low complexity code/scripts in Python / bash to automate recurring administrative tasks, manage tool configurations, and facilitate robust data integration/cleanup between systems.
Documentation & Training:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, tool configurations, and reporting standards. Provide necessary training and support to end-users.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, project management, and operational teams to understand data needs and translate them into effective, data-driven reporting solutions.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Mandatory skills and qualifications
Business Intelligence Mastery:
Hands-on experience and proven expertise in developing robust reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI or similar enterprise BI platforms, specifically focusing on data visualization for business decision-making
Scripting/Coding:
Ability to write and troubleshoot low complexity code for automation, data wrangling, and tools integration.
Tools Administration Experience:
Prior experience in administering user management, workflows, and permissions in Jira or any other enterprise level tools.
Problem-Solving:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on data accuracy, measurement fidelity, and process efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
SQL Proficiency:
Strong working knowledge of SQL for querying, joining, and manipulating large datasets.
Data Modeling:
Experience in designing efficient, scalable, and standardized data models for BI reporting purposes.
Application Security Tools:
Familiarity with the operation, execution, and output of major application security (SAST/SCA) tools like Blackduck or Coverity.
