O.P. Jindal Global University O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) is a non-profit Global University established by the Haryana Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 2009 at Sonipat, Haryana (NCR of Delhi) through a generous philanthropic initiative of Mr. Naveen Jindal. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has notified JGU as a private university established by the state legislature of Haryana. JGU and JGLS are recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI). At present, JGU has six schools, Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), Jindal Global Business School (JGBS), Jindal school of International Business (JSIA), Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP), Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities (JSLH) and Jindal School of Journalism and Communication (JSJC).
