Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair HT overhead and underground power lines (11kV, 33kV, and above).
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on transformers, insulators, breakers, and switchgear.
Inspect electrical systems and equipment for signs of wear, damage, or safety issues.
Operate tools and heavy machinery such as bucket trucks, cranes, and line tensioners.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, IEC, IS).
Troubleshoot faults in HT lines using testing equipment and assist in outage restoration.
Maintain proper documentation of work performed, including inspection logs and maintenance records.
Coordinate with electrical engineers and site supervisors during installation and commissioning.
Respond to emergency calls and perform on-call duties as required.
