Job Purpose
- We are seeking an experienced and driven Alternate Dealing Manager to drive Broking revenues through leads originating from client sister concerns.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of dealers.
- This position requires a deep understanding of stock broking operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Achieve Broking Revenue targets
- Develop and execute strategies to drive brokerage revenue growth by converting leads.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand the client base in the region.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of dealers in Kolkata, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify training needs and organize training programs to enhance the team\'s expertise and market knowledge.
Trading Operations
- Oversee and coordinate all trading activities conducted by the team, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Monitor market trends and analyze trading data to make informed decisions for optimizing trading strategies.
- Collaborate with research teams and analysts to gain insights into potential trading opportunities.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, trading activities, and revenue generation to senior management.
- Analyze data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable strategies.
Qualifications and Work Experience :
- Bachelor\'s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. A master\'s degree would be an advantage.
- Minimum 6 years of sales experience in the stock broking segment, with a track record of successful trading and revenue generation.
- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, guiding and developing a team of dealers.
- In-depth understanding of Familiarity with equity, derivatives, commodities, and other asset classes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, team members, and senior management.
- Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and risk management.
- Ability to make informed decisions based on market trends and performance data.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
