Job Description

responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. Their role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and restaurant efficiency.

1. Greeting & Seating Guests



? Welcoming guests with a friendly attitude.
? Escorting them to their tables and providing menus.
? Offering recommendations or explaining specials of the day.

2. Taking Orders



? Listening to customers and accurately writing down or inputting orders into the system.
? Answering questions about the menu, ingredients, and preparation.
? Recommending dishes based on guest preferences.

3. Serving Food & Beverages



? Delivering food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
? Ensuring dishes are served at the correct temperature and presentation.
? Refilling drinks and checking if guests need anything else.

4. Table Maintenance & Guest Assistance



? Checking on guests to ensure they are satisfied with their meal.
? Addressing any complaints or special requests promptly.
? Clearing empty plates and keeping the table tidy.

5. Payment Processing



? Presenting the bill to guests and handling payments (cash, card, or digital).
? Providing change and receipts as needed.
? Thanking guests and inviting them to return.

6. Cleaning & Resetting Tables



? Clearing and sanitizing tables after guests leave.
? Resetting tables with clean utensils, napkins, and menus.

7. Following Health & Safety Standards



? Maintaining hygiene by following food safety guidelines.
? Handling food and drinks according to restaurant protocols.
? Reporting any issues (spills, broken items, complaints) to management.

8. Teamwork & Communication



? Coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery.
? Communicating special requests (allergies, modifications) to the kitchen.
? Assisting colleagues during busy hours.
