We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow developer who has mastered the release management process to design, develop and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing complex solutions and managing the release lifecycle, including scheduling, coordination, and deployment of releases across the Development, QA and Production instances. This role ensures proper governance, risk assessment and process improvements to optimize ServiceNow releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement ServiceNow applications and integrations
Develop and maintain a structured release schedule for ServiceNow products and platform upgrades.
Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, script includes and client/server scripts.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define release scope, timelines and dependencies.
Ensure all releases align with ITIL best practice and change management processes.
Oversee the deployment process to minimize downtime and business disruptions.
Manage ServiceNow upgrades, patches and new feature deployments.
Ensure proper documentation and rollback plans for each release.
Enforce release management policies, procedures and best practices.
Ensure all releases comply with security, audit and compliance requirements
Act as the primary contact for ServiceNow release management.
Provide regular status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
You Must Have:
5+ years' experience as a ServiceNow Developer
2+ years' experience leading Release Management activities including code analysis, troubleshooting issues, design of release packages, update sets and assessment of risks
Broad and strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM and ITBM.
Experience with Agile, DevOps and ITIL methodologies
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools and ServiceNow upgrade processes.
Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and management skills
Proficiency in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Experience with enablement and organizational change management
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework & Digital Product Release
Experience working in a large enterprise environment
ITIL v4 certification
