Role : Service Now Ops Event Management Consultant 4 to 5 years of experience with the ServiceNow platform/HR modules. Understanding of best practices for defining configurations vs customizations, update set migration, cloning of environments, management of groups/users and data management. 4 years of experience supporting ITSM/ITIL processes and solutions from ServiceNow. Excellent interpersonal skills combined with practice establishing and maintaining credibility as a ServiceNow expert Customizing and configuring core modules like IM, PM, CM, SRM, SLM and KM based on requirements. Hands on Experience in Update sets, Scheduled imports, Transform Maps and Transform Scripts. Certification ITIL Foundation / ServiceNow Admin Certified / ServiceNow Implementation specialist. Evaluate new features in the platform with ServiceNow releases and the suitability/applicability in the current environment. Support all upgrade projects to ensure minimal impact to existing operations while enabling new features. Manages development efforts pertaining to modules of the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, including support for newly developed modules or major releases Participates in the collection and implementation of tool requirements and investigates as necessary to determine the best solution or configuration options available based on the specific requirement Prioritize and resolve cases and escalations in queue with little or no supervision. Strong troubleshooting/root cause isolation skills. Team management for dotted lines. Requires strong understanding of processes, key measurements, operating level targets etc. Proven ability to work across multiple functional teams in the creation of an application development/support process Maintain an effective approach on problem solving, multi-tasking, coordinating and scheduling the team of developers, equipment and materials in accordance with the Project Plan to ensure visibility and predictability. Communication skills: Clear spoken and written English Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences Working Experience: 5 years experience in operations tooling management Soft skills: Positive attitude, enthusiastic, cooperative.
