Responsibilities & Qualifications

Specifically, you will

• Manage (Monitor and configure) VA scanning and monitoring, EDR/MDR and SIEM tools
• Monitor DLP technologies and AV logs
• Manage O365 Security and Compliance administration and perform simulation tests
• Monitor computer networks for security issues.
• Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents.
• Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
• Document procedures and security incidents
• Work with security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
• Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
• Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
• Performs security engineering and security architecture responsibilities
• Interpret network, server, and security logs
• Work on L1 escalations and Coordinate with IT team to close security gaps

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in L2 SOC operations
• 5+ years of experience in SOC operations
• Required experience in Qualys, O365 security, AV, EDR/MDR and SIEM tools

• Required experience in log monitoring and analysis of O365, Windows Server, AV, SIEM, EDR/MDR
• Technical proficiency in troubleshooting, security investigations, and security reports

Skills for Success

• Knowledgeable in security frameworks CIS, NIST
• Knowledgeable in SDLC concepts
• Solid security fundamentals
• Technical proficiency in troubleshooting, security investigations, and security reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• PMP certification preferred not required
