Work within the Agri team on designing and implementing the contract.
Develop and deliver insightful presentations.
Track competitors and develop respond strategies.
Revisit the product and understand the market dynamics and accordingly realign product strategies.
Report to the MD & CEO both historically and forward looking.
Ensuring increase of various commodity groups turnover within the Agri domain.
Ensuring timely identification of lead physical & futures players in each commodity and to link them with MCX. Work with their team on corporate conversions.
Providing all relevant information and clarification to the BD Team and brokers on a commodity or a group of commodities
Ensuring popularization of new contracts and revitalizing existing contracts, by suitable modifications in the contracts, wherever required
Ensuring smooth coordination with the business development team and agri trade stakeholders for problem identification, networking & feedback
Ensuring sending of monthly mailers to all potential users, market participants and relevant internal teams.
Representing MCX in key events / seminars / conference related to the agri commodities market
Reviewing the performance of the Agri Product team in terms of increase in traded volumes of commodities, new products, quality of research, adherence to timelines, regulatory compliance, market interface, etc.
Reviewing the performance of the agri contracts in terms of participation, traded volumes, hedgers added, etc.
Monitoring performance with targets and competition under different parameters
Monitoring prices, demand & supply factors, global and local news, etc. to stay abreast of markets and latest developments
Ensuring smooth Coordination between the Agri Product Team and other internal teams, including the Business Development team
Ensuring the spread of knowledge and commodity reports to aid members in doing business
Ensuring smooth coordination with the Research team to seek inputs for changes in existing contracts, design of new contracts, launch of new products, etc.
Ensuring smooth coordination with the Corporate Communications team to organize events, seminars etc. and with the Marketing Communications team for product marketing activities.
Work with the BD team in developing go to market strategy based on product and market knowledge, policies and the present nature of the market.
Work with the MCXCCL team for issues relating to warehousing and deliveries of the contracts listed on the Exchange.
Ensuring the smooth coordination with other department heads for lead generation, resolution of hedger/member queries/grievances, introduction of best practices for better client servicing etc.
Conducting the Product Advisory Committee meetings and acting on the outcomes of the meetings. Complying with all Regulatory guidelines in a timely and proper manner.
