Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Piping Designer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Gurugram/Gurgaon.

As the successful candidate, you will carry out basic piping design tasks under supervision in accordance with Hatch standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to and promote the company safety culture
• Focus on the quality of design work in accordance with the project/Hatch procedures
• Develop a good understanding of Hatch standards and industry best practice
• Produce piping Material Take Offs (MTOs)
• Develop a good understanding of piping systems and their applications.
• Design and Modelling of Piping/ items using piping specifications and procedures..
• Ability to understand the P&ID’s and its requirements for piping design and extraction of isometrics,
• Basic understanding of inline and online instrumentation items.
• Develop Piping design using vendor drawings
• Locate and select pipe supports with piping stress analyst input.
• Interdsciplinary Co -ordination.
• Extraction and self checking of Isometrics
• Produce design deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience
Advanced Degree /Diploma of Engineering or equivalent (Mechanical preferred)

Years of experience: 5-15yrs
Good understanding of the Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) policy and standards
Preferred

• Software: Bentley OPD
• Alternate software: Smart plant or any other 3D piping software platform
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
