Job Title : Nursing In-Charge - Emergency Department

Location : Pala- Erattupetta Road, Kaduvamuzhi, Erattupetta, Kerala 686121

Experience Required:

Minimum 10

years

of clinical nursing experience, with at least 8

years in Emergency/Casualty

and

1 year in a supervisory or charge nurse role

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, coordinate, and support emergency department nursing staff. Ensure prompt, high-quality emergency care in accordance with hospital policies. Monitor patient triage, treatment, and flow to reduce wait times and improve outcomes. Handle staffing, scheduling, shift handovers, and emergency resource allocation. Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, hygiene standards, and safety guidelines. Train and guide junior nurses; support skill development and crisis handling. Collaborate with emergency physicians and hospital management for seamless operations. Maintain detailed patient records, incident reports, and performance metrics. Oversee equipment availability, emergency supply inventory, and request replenishments. Act as a liaison with patient relatives, providing timely updates and support.

Qualifications:

B.Sc. Nursing or GNM with valid Nursing Council Registration. Minimum 5 years of hospital nursing experience (Emergency Department preferred). Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting. Strong clinical knowledge of emergency procedures and trauma care. Excellent communication, decision-making, and team management skills. Willing to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and high-pressure scenarios.
