Job Description

Looking for jewlery merchandizer with a leading US Based Company Responsibilities:

• Participating in the departmental meetings and understanding the project/ work requirements.
• Responsible for indentifying International & US Market Trend and Competitor analysis, developing concepts, selecting new designs & making recommendations accordingly.
• Analyze past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs.
• Short list designs with all the details and conducting deep analysis in coordination with the reporting manager. Proposing a Product Mix as per required price point and quality standards suggested by management.
• Prepare and issue product detail sheet for upcoming collections including USP of the Products, sharing with stakeholders and addressing the issues (if any).
• Coordinate with Product development team and monitor new product launch timeline to ensure new merchandise is launched on time.
• Take care of categorization on website in coordination with the reporting officer and optimize the existing categories as per data analysis.
• Provide ideas & briefs to designers for developing new products.

Required Competencies:

• Experience in Merchandising and Product development of Precious and Semi-Precious Colored Gemstone and Diamond Jewelry.
• Strong and thorough knowledge of Precious and Semi-Precious gemstones and gemstone jewelry.
• Must have design and development experience for USA market within the colored gemstone and diamond jewelry space.
• Knowledge of Gemstone Sourcing, Productions, Inventory planning and fulfillment would be an added advantage.
• Experience of handling jewelry merchandising for Ecommerce platform.
• One who has participated and represented his company in International Jewelry Shows would be preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project management, analytical skills, numerical skills.
• Excellent market analysis skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with key members to facilitate accomplishment of work.

Preferred Qualification:

• MBA from a recognized university

• Higher Diploma/Degree in Jewelry designing & manufacturing
