Job Description

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
    • Strong Academic background with minimum a bachelors degree from a reputed college in India
    • Experience working in high-stress environments and a proven ability to exercise judgement even in crisis
    • Excellent communicator with great interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Self starter with the ability to think, plan, and execute large projects
    • Team player who can work with people from a broad range of backgrounds and experience, including leading campaigns and mentoring more junior members of the team.
    • Expected to have prior experience dealing with top management.
    • Preferable Work experience: 12-20 years
    KEY TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for technical solution design, development, deployment/cutover, and implementation - covering all technical aspects of the implementation lifecycle.
    • Partner with Executive Team members to develop and execute the long term IT strategies for the Group.
    • Highly collaborative with stakeholders throughout the Company, to ensure the IT vision and strategy is in line with the needs of the organization.
    • Define detailed technical designs based on functional business requirements and gap solutions
    • Complete technical development tasks using the ERP tools
    • Execute Unit Testing plans on all assigned customizations, interfaces and reports.
    • Oversee IT & IS due diligence on new business applications and infrastructure opportunities.
    • Enable business functions and process to enhance their innovation and idea generation capability
    • Accountable for the implementation of all technology related projects including developments/enhancement of new websites and software and ongoing enhancements.
    • Make decisions on short and long term uses of technology within the organization in consultation with the management team.
    • Lead and manage technical team with clear structure and processes for the department.
    • Manage implementation plans, budgets, delivery time estimates and meeting those time estimates.
    • Utilize project management methodology and software practices, where appropriate, to enhance business communication and to provide user scenarios for implementations.
    • Ensure security across all of the technical systems and software services.
    • Manage and develop relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders, vendors, out-sourced development.
    • Oversee out-sourced software development relationships, development and delivery
    • Develop customised tools for internal Depts, also develop systems incorporating Six Sigma tools
    • Knowledge on applicable Legal/Statutory matters

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • To design and implement business specific IT strategy.
    • Deep understanding of SAP ERP with BW is desirable
    • Design the IT staff structure.
    • Significant experience in managing IT projects implementation from inception to delivery either in a Manufacturing or systems management environment.
    • Exceptional hands-on experience with IT Infrastructure, software development or systems management.
    • Strong understanding of software implementation, IT Infrastructure and project management (SAP)
    • Must take a pro-active approach and be a team player
    • Have knowledge of network infrastructure hosting
    • Knowledge of CRM especially Salesforce.com is recommended
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
