Product Head- Digital Banking
Role Details :
- The individual will have the Ownership of designing the digital bank value proposition
- The individual will be responsible for the product roadmap, design, client journeys, user stories and ensuring timely development and go-live of the Digital bank and subsequent product and journey rollout
- This role is a team management position and critical to the most important strategic initiative in the Bank
:
- Define the value proposition for the digital banking proposition
- Define the product roadmap for digital platform of the Bank across different product lines (Liabilities, Assets, Wealth, Cards, Insurance, PFM, etc.) and services offered through the digital experience layer
- Establish the brand guidelines and lead the design practice including setting up of Information architecture and journey design
- Lead a team of PMs who are responsible owning customer insighting, develop product propositions, lead journey design, create user stories and engage with engineering/ partners to deliver the product roadmap
- Define and Own end to end user journeys (DIY, Assisted and Partner) across product/platform with high degree of reusability across all three enabled by future ready architecture
- Define the experience layer architecture with concepts of micro frontend, reusability and orchestration along with shaping the middleware/ micro services based architecture with concepts of scalability and modularity with the Tech Architect and Engineering Head of the Bank
- Manage end to end Product Development Lifecycle (closely work with UI/UX designers/partners for wireframes/visual designs, manage sprint, product release and launches on regular intervals); should be able to shape the organization transition shifts from BRD/ FSD to user stories and also shape daily scrums across the Digital Banking propositions through his team of PMs
- Cross-functional collaboration - work with multiple stakeholders internal (Tech Architect, Engineering, Solution Development Group - Core Banking Risk, CISO, Compliance, Growth), external (vendors and partners) to drive and implement product roadmap
- Constantly benchmark platforms against best in class globally to create frictionless client journeys as digital infrastructure matures - Evaluate product solutions and vendors for specific use cases
- Work closely with Growth team to drive adoption of platforms & user growth via client campaigns or via partners.
Education and Work Experience Requirements :
- Should be well versed with agile / scrum methodologies
- Strong understanding of micro-services / API based architecture
- Should have led a team of PMs in his previous role
Essential requirement :
- 8-10 years of work experience in product management.
- Knowledge of Banking or Payment products preferable
- Experience of launching new Digital products with new age digital companies
