Greet guest warmly as they enter the restaurant and assist with seating arrangements if required.
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage online or walk-in reservations.
Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked with relevant materials (menus, brochures, etc.).
Provide information about the menu, daily specials, and promotions.
Handle billing, cash transactions, and operate the POS system accurately.
Manage guest feedback, resolve complaints professionally, and escalate major issues to the manager.
Maintain a log of daily guest interactions and provide end-of-day reports.
Monitor stock of front-desk supplies (billing rolls, pens, forms, etc.) and request replenishment when needed.
Uphold guest service standards and maintain a pleasant atmosphere at the cafe entrance.
Working Conditions:
Flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
On feet for extended periods.
Interaction with guest throughout the shift.
