About the job

We are seeking a

highly driven Expansion Manager

to expand

Tether's

growth and presence in

India

through adoption of its solutions, products and services. The Expansion Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and executing new business opportunities,

establishing strategic partnerships

, and navigating

regulatory landscapes

. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to develop and implement

go-to-market strategies

in

India

and across the region.

You have:

A degree in

Business, Management, or Finance

(MBA preferred). Strong

analytical skills

and experience in setting/monitoring KPIs. A

successfully building and managing strategic partnerships

Responsibilities:

Business Development & Partnerships

Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities in

India

and the region. Build strong relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders. Develop strategic partnerships with financial institutions, fintech firms, payment providers, and government entities.

Market Strategy & Execution

Design and implement go-to-market strategies to expand

Tether's

products and services. Track and analyze KPIs to assess and optimize market strategies.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, threats, and growth opportunities. Analyze

USDt

and fiat flows for data-driven decision-making. Monitor regulatory changes and assess their business impact.

Stakeholder & Government Engagement

Manage relationships with regulators, government agencies, and industry bodies. Represent the company at key meetings and industry events.

Marketing & Community Engagement

Support and participate in fintech, blockchain and digital assets events, conferences, and meetups to enhance brand visibility.

Investment and Venture Growth

Identify and evaluate strategic investment opportunities that align with Tether's mission to expand its ecosystem, drive financial inclusion, and deliver meaningful impact for underserved communities and broader humanity. Support the growth of Tether's portfolio and partners in local markets and across the APAC region.
Deep knowledge of the Indian specifically and APAC market in general, culture, and regulations in blockchain, fintech, digital assets, remittances, and payments. 7-10 years work experience in cross-border settlements, mobile money, and payment infrastructures; telecom or banking experience is a plus. Fluent in English, with a Business, Management, or Finance degree (MBA preferred). Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with partners, regulators, and stakeholders. Proven experience in partnerships, KPI monitoring, and business growth. Analytical, strategic, and results-driven with problem-solving skills. Entrepreneurial background and project management expertise. * Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments with international travel readiness.
