Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules\' firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

Requirements:

Must have:
1. Bachelor\'s or advanced degree (Master\'s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in machine learning, data science, or related fields, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
3. 8+ years of experience of Data Science and AI product portfolio ownership with proven track record of bringing solutions to production
4. Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
5. Solid understanding of ml algorithms and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
6. Knowledge of time series modelling and signal processing
7. Knowledge of Deep learning and its application
8. Ability to drive long-term design strategies that span multiple complex projects
9. Ability to deliver reproducible data driven reports to the leadership and customers
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
Nice to have:
1. Previous exposure to MLOps practices using Databricks, Amazon SageMaker
2. Experience of delivering ML-based solutions to the highly constrained environments (IoT)
3. Experience with ML/DL frameworks: TensorFlow, Keras, ScikitLearn
4. Ability to write and comprehend code of one or several frameworks from list: Python, MATLAB,R
5. PhD, MSc or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines
6. Experience of working in distributed teams

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Machine Learning/Data Science Lead. As the lead, you will be responsible for driving our machine learning and data science initiatives, leveraging advanced analytics to extract valuable insights and improve business outcomes. You will play a crucial role in leading a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers, shaping the technical direction, and driving innovation within the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Machine Learning and Data Science Team: Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages learning and growth.
2. Strategy and Roadmap Development: Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for machine learning and data science projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the initiatives with business goals and objectives.
3. Machine Learning and Data Science Projects: Lead the development, implementation, and deployment of machine learning and data science projects. Apply advanced analytics techniques and algorithms to extract insights, build predictive models, and optimize business processes.
4. Data Exploration and Preparation: Collaborate with data engineers and domain experts to explore and understand the available data sources. Identify relevant data, perform data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering to prepare the datasets for analysis and modeling.
5. Model Development and Evaluation: Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. Evaluate model performance, tune hyperparameters, and ensure the models are accurate, robust, and scalable.
6. Deployment and Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to deploy machine learning models into production environments. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and workflows while adhering to best practices in model deployment and monitoring.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders and domain experts, to understand their requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions. Communicate project progress, insights, and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, data science, and related technologies. Identify opportunities to apply new methodologies, tools, and frameworks to improve existing processes and deliver innovative solutions.
