Job Description

Job Purpose:
- To create, update and revise three-dimensional (3 D) visual plan for projects based on drawings in BIM based applications.
- To deliver a clear output of the drawings.
Primary duties and responsibilities: 
- Collection of Data: Gather project requirements from team leader. Requirements such as specifications, calculations, codes, elevation and regulations.
- Preparation: Using Autodesk Revit software, prepare detailed BIM modelling and design for projects from design stage to as-built stage and coordinating between all other services with various level of detailing.
- Evolve design concepts through phases from schematic ideas into Construction Documents utilizing Revit 3D BIM modelling with high accuracy, precision & efficiency.
- Analysing: Analyse specifications, calculations, codes, space and regulations and determines how they will affect architectural designs. Perform calculations, develop architectural plans, sections, elevations, and check details for accuracy before submitting for approval.
- Designs Update: Update and modify designs based on new information(s).
- Reports: Collaborate with internal / external team members on project deadlines and workflow milestones.
- Contribute/Assist leadership with firm-wide Revit standards, model management, and technical support to other Revit modelers
- Perform other duties as and when assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):
 
·      Understanding of BIM Manual / Project Standards
·      Strong technical drawing and 3D modelling skills with in-depth knowledge of design, specifications, codes, and analysis
·      Knowledge on compliance with the approved BIM Execution and BIM Scope Plans
·      Familiarity with Design Visualization applications such as Autodesk 360 (Cloud Rendering), 3D Studio Max and Navisworks
Ability to articulately convey (verbally, visually, graphically) digital design concepts

Minimum – Graduate in Civil /Architecture with minimum 2 years of work experience as BIM Modeller.
Preferred – Experience in Western Country and Gulf Project
