Key Responsibilities:Financial Accounting & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IND AS/IFRS). Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Costing & Inventory Management:

Implement and monitor cost accounting systems and standard costing. Analyze production costs, raw material costs, and variances. Assist in controlling wastage, optimizing procurement, and improving production efficiency.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Prepare annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads. Monitor budget variances and provide actionable insights.

Audit & Compliance:

Liaise with internal and external auditors. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other regulatory requirements. File statutory returns and ensure all records are audit-ready.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance:

Handle GST filings, input credit reconciliations, and assessments. Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxation laws. Support in transfer pricing, tax audits, and liaison with consultants or tax authorities.

MIS & Financial Analysis:

Prepare and present Management Information Reports on key financial metrics. Analyze financial trends and suggest improvements to drive profitability and growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Chartered Accountant (CA) - Must be a qualified member of ICAI. Minimum [3-7] years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a manufacturing setup. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial controls, and ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, etc.). Proficient in MS Excel, Tally ERP, and financial analysis tools. Good understanding of tax laws, statutory compliance, and financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
