Role Overview:

You will lead and mentor a team of Lead Specialists and developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for managing the software development lifecycle, ensuring projects are executed
efficiently, and technical excellence is maintained. Your leadership skills, technical expertise, and strategic
mindset will play a key role in driving the success of the development team and contributing to the overall
growth and success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Lead and inspire a team of Managers and developers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and mentorship to support individual and team growth.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute a comprehensive software development strategy, aligning it with the organization's business objectives and long-term vision. Leverage your industry expertise to identify opportunities for technology adoption and innovation.

Project Delivery and Architecture:

Oversee the successful delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and adhere to best practices. Participate in architectural decision-making to design scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions.

Technical Expertise:

Demonstrate a strong technical background with proficiency in application development using a variety of technologies, including Python, React, C#, .NET, ETL, BI, AI/ML, and cloud technologies.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with executive leadership, product managers, and stakeholders to understand business needs, provide technical insights, and align software development efforts with organizational goals.

Resource Management:

Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and efficiency across projects. Identify skill gaps and training needs, ensuring the team is equipped to tackle complex challenges.

Agile Practices and Project Management:

Promote agile methodologies and project management principles to improve development processes, enhance collaboration, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Budget Management:

Oversee the software development budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost efficiency.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and software development, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

Proven track record of successfully

managing software development teams, architecting solutions

, and delivering projects

in the investment management industry or a similar financial domain.

Strong technical background with expertise in application development using technologies like

python, react, C#,

.NET, ETL , BI,

cloud technologies .

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the

ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team

Job Requirement

Skills Required:

Experience in the investment management industry or a similar financial services domain Proven track record of successfully managing software development teams, architecting solutions, and delivering projects in the investment management industry or a similar financial domain. Strong technical background with expertise in application development using technologies like python, react, C#, .NET, ETL , BI, cloud technologies . Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Thorough understanding of software development methodologies, agile practices, and project management principles. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, capable of making sound decisions under pressure.

Academic Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

At least 15+ years of experience in software development, including significant experience in leadership or management roles.
You will be the driving force behind the success of the development team, leading them towards technical excellence, efficient project delivery, and a cohesive and collaborative work environment. Your strategic vision and leadership skills will be critical in shaping the team's growth and success.
