The Consultant is responsible for creating solutions for different US based clients to meet their requirements with Kronos products in their environment. The requirements could be creating different kind of output files using WorkForce Integration Manager (WIM) , creating reports using Crystal/ SSRS, creating workflows using Process Manager, upgrading from lower version of WFC to a higher version, creating work rules, creating pay rules etc. The Consultant should have indepth knowledge of the HR/Payroll database and some knowledge of related tools which will assist in creating these customized solutions. The candidate should have in depth knowledge of Kronos product Workforce Timekeeper, Workforce Integration Manager, HR/ Payroll, Scheduling, Absence Management, Leave, Reports. The successful candidate will utilize the defined processes to meet the targeted completion dates. He/She will work remotely to implement and support the Kronos solution, and will work closely with the Kronos Project Managers to complete tasks delegated by the Project Managers toward completing system implementations/ configurations. Other responsibilities will include the following customer related tasks: Using Professional Services concepts Provide solution for Interfaces Understanding the requirements from the client Preparing the design document Coding, testing and deploying the interfaces Configuration of solutions on different Kronos products. User Acceptance Testing Support Deploy and Release to production environment Upgrading existing Kronos customers from lower versions to a more compatible and recent version. This may include porting of the full-suite Kronos implementation and delivering it as a like to like solution. Overall understanding of the Kronos solution is a must for successfully upgrading and deploying the solution. The Consultant should show the flexibility for taking calls in the evening with the client and the US team members. In certain scenarios they will be required to support major releases and upgrades during US hours.
Qualifications Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field At least 8 years of industry experience with experience in providing product configurations services to Global customers 5+ years experience in implementing/ configuring Kronos products Must have domain knowledge of Workforce management, HR and Payroll processing Experience in working with SQL relational database management systems SQL scripting knowledge a plus Having a good understanding of HR/Payroll database tables and the relationship of these tables Experience with requirement gathering, consulting and solution proposal Experience in creating interfaces for upstream/downstream applications Experience with Crystal Reports, SSRS or similar reporting package Excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent customer interfacing skills
